Here we go, Team Glock Vs. Team 1911, it will be held during the Kamagong Clubshoot on December 12, 2010.

mechanics? any suggestions...I would want to go for the suggestion of Delpey in another thread. Minimum number of shooters per Team? (10?)

a.Team to provide their own set of uniforms.

b. Losing Team pays for 10 cases of beer and 1 lechon. (so supporters, apil intawn mo ug amot)

c. Winning Team gets to be featured in RCTV, and article and write up in all local dailies.
and of course endless bragging rights....as the REAL MEN.... special prize from _______gaybar.

d. Winning Team will be featured in a big photo tarpauline to be displayed in all gunclubs for the entire 2011.

e. Only shooters who understand the FUN OF IT ALL are allowed to enter the range.

iam in. i suggest 1 gun lang gamiton for the team 1911. my 1911 G.I. i know some have already enhanced there gun.. and most enhanced gun are not relaiable for the mud and sand test because of its tight toleranrance. not like the GLOCK and strandard 1911 got bigger fitting tolerances..

why we enhanced our 1911 to become unreliable??? no. it was enhanced for a specific purpose increase accuracy, handling etc. but not for the purpose to withstand mud and sand.. because most people who enhanced. there guns got specific purpose of use.. Like.... IPSC shooting???.. IPSC dont require you to dip your gun on mud or sand.. DAILY CARRY/PERSONAL DEFENCE???..dont require you to dip your gun on mud/sand.. OR... shall we consider IF????... in real life ma dip sa mud or sand ang gun???? then we should consider also an IPDA stage sand and mud dipping????

IDPA stage with sand and mud dipping. interesting! we'll make it more natural by letting the shooter crawl on mud and sand then shoot the targets. or install some garden sprinklers to simulate rain, let's see how the gun functions and the effect of the sprinkler hitting the shooter's face. can he keep his focus? will he be distracted? let's try that. go go go!

Great suggestion guys...but I have to caution though...the most probable way we will do this is to be as RETARDED as possible....we are just a small faction of those that came before us- in debating, testing, which is which...much has been said in the books and literature...in the web...in the range...

Lets do it all, sand dipping, wetting (everybody's favorite?) and shooting it fast and furious...and be happy.
