oh yeah, during the Cebu Idpa regionals, wherein the challenging course of fire WAS MADE MORE LIKE AN ENDURANCE RUN...for our pistols, the bad weather really tested not only the shooters, but the guns as well..

what I saw was............MANY GLOCK OWNERS DIDNT CARE if there guns get wet, or in the case of the muddy stage 8, guns and magazines got wet and muddy......

the 1911 owners, had to stay in the shade...finished shooting last....got home late....as they were afraid their guns and magazine will get wet and muddy and WILL NOT FUNCTION....

now, how's that for a FIRST SALVO!!!

hi everybody! i'm a newbie in this forum and a newbie shooter. i shot all nine stages idpa regional with my 1911 last saturday and experienced two "failure to feed" on one of the nine stages caused by the cheap mag i was using. as for my 1911 itself, it ran well the whole match. honestly, i like glocks but i love 1911s. no offense to all glockers.

IF IT AIN'T ALL STEEL AND SINGLE STACK, IT AIN'T 1911.

Glockers don't need no defense for this silly argument. We KNOW Glocks are more durable and more reliable than any 1911 EVER MADE. 67,000 out of 90,000 american police departments agree with us. 19 countries use the Glock as their primary sidearm, versus exactly ONE using a 1911. Laughing

1911 fanboys can whine all they want about how good 1911s are, but secretly they know they are wrong, dili lang gyud ganahan moadmit. That is why we Glockers don't really mind if 1911 fans grow hoarse rahrah-ing the 1911, because ...
