How to post photos/ videos?

Images/ Photos

Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor images stored behind authentication mechanisms, e.g. hotmail or yahoo mailboxes, password protected sites, etc. To display the image use the BBCode [img] tag or click the image icon

Here is a FREE site for your images/photos: http://www.photobucket.com. Just Register and upload.

Videos using YouTube (http://www.youtube.com)

For those who like to learn with pictures, here it is.

For this sample, we're using INTERNET EXPLORER or MOZILLA FIREFOX browser and we'll upload our IMAGES in Photobucket

Step 01:

Go to http://www.photobucket.com .
Log in. If you haven't registered yet, please do so.

Step 02:

Click on the "CHOOSE FILES. This is assuming the IMAGE/ S is in YOUR COMPUTER and that the IMAGE will be reduced to 800x600 pixels. Otherwise select from the option given.
A window will pop-out for you to browse for the IMAGE in YOUR COMPUTER.
After selecting the IMAGE, it will automatically take you to the UPLOAD PROCESS.

Step 03:

After UPLOADING, it will prompt you to input the TITLE, DESCRIPTION and TAGS.
Click on the SAVE AND CONTINUE button.

Step 04:

The recent uploaded IMAGE will show on the next page. Click, Highlight and Copy the IMG CODE of the IMAGE you want to post in the website.

Step 05:

Go back to this website, www.obetyance.com .
Wether posting a NEW TOPIC or using the QUICK REPLY in replying to a post, PASTE in the TEXT AREA what you've copied in the PHOTOBUCKET.

Step 06:

Click SUBMIT when you're done filling in the TEXT AREA.

THAT'S IT! YOU'RE DONE! Smile

As for posting VIDEOS, we'll upload it using YOUTUBE

Step 01:

Go to http://www.youtube.com .
Sign In/ Log in. If you haven't Register/ Sign Up yet, please do so.
After signing in, click on the UPLOAD button.

Step 02:

Click on the "BROWSE..." button and search for the VIDEO you want to upload that is located anywhere in YOUR COMPUTER.
Click on the UPLOAD VIDEO button afterwards.

Step 03:

After UPLOADING, it will prompt you to input the TITLE, DESCRIPTION,TAGS, CATEGORY and PRIVACY.
Click on the SAVE CHANGES button when you're done.
Click on the GO TO MY VIDEOS button to view your files

Step 04:

Click on the PLAY button to test it.

Step 05:

The recent uploaded VIDEO will show on this page. Click, Highlight and Copy the URL of the VIDEO you want to post in the website.

Step 06:

Wether posting a NEW TOPIC or using the QUICK REPLY in replying to a post, PASTE in the TEXT AREA what you've copied in the PHOTOBUCKET.
Click on the YOUTUBE icon. A prompt window will ask you to paste the URL. Paste it in there.

Step 07:

Click SUBMIT when you're done filling in the TEXT AREA.

Step 08:

THAT'S IT! YOU'RE DONE!
